Job Description

Summary

We are looking for a part-time self-starter 2nd shift custodian. This position will be a responsible person who takes pride in their work for the daily cleaning and upkeep of the Natural Learners Childcare Center. You will work mostly unsupervised and will be respected and appreciated at all times. The position is Monday through Friday, with flexible hours. We are looking for 3-4 hours an evening, any time between 5:00pm and 5:00am. The person we are looking for must have experience in custodial tasks and be self reliant and hard working. The position will be located in South Burlington. All tools, materials and training will be provided. We are looking for a long term member to join our team!

Duties

Main cleaning duties are:
Surface cleaning and sanitizing
Sweeping (bathrooms and hallway)
Mopping (bathrooms and hallway)
Vacuuming (hallway rugs)
Dusting
Trash/Recycle/removal
Daily cleaning of all bathrooms including toilets, sinks, floors and refilling supplies.
Occasional classroom carpet cleaning
Occasional deep clean of classroom cubbies and boot trays

Requirements

Qualifications and Desired Characteristics:

-Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with professionalism and respect.

-Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.

-Ability to multitask and perform all job requirements.

- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures.

-Must pass a minimal background check and have transportation.
