Job Description

Summary:
We've partnered with a construction company in Waunakee, WI in search of a temporary Accounting Assistant to support its team with AP/AR duties for 2-3 months. This role offers 20-40 hours per week with flexibility. The ideal candidate has Sage software experience or a strong Accounting background with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Process AP invoices and ensure timely payments
• Manage AR including invoicing and collections
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with general bookkeeping and financial record keeping
• Collaborate with team to maintain financial data

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; Accounting degree preferred
• 2+ years of Accounting experience to include AP and AR
• Experience with Sage accounting software highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of accounting programs
