We are seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our bakery team in a dual role that combines baking and front-of-house operations, with the potential to grow into a Store Manager position. Responsibilities

• Bake a variety of items, including cupcakes, cakes, cookies, and pies, with a focus on custom and specialty cakes.
• Decorate cakes and cupcakes with creativity and precision.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and warm experience for all customers.
• Operate the register, process orders, and handle high-pressure tasks with ease during busy periods.
• Maintain a clean, cozy, and inviting front-of-house atmosphere where customers feel at home.
• Post daily specials and bakery updates on social media, promoting our products and events.
• Attend and represent the bakery at local festivals and events.
• Manage baking-related tasks, including inventory and quality control, while assisting with day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a bakery or similar environment, particularly in baking and cake decorating.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity, with a people-centered approach.
• Friendly and customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Basic management or leadership experience, or a desire to develop these skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage both baking and front-of-house responsibilities.
• Familiarity with social media platforms for business is a plus.
• Availability to work 15-25 hours per week, Tuesday through Sunday, with flexibility to attend local events and festivals.
• Reliable form of transportation
