Digital Content Marketing Specialist

At Moncur, we specialize in tackling some of the most complex branding and marketing challenges for industry-leading B2B companies. It's our goal to help our clients sell more of what they do and to do that requires effective, beautiful communication—content marketing at its finest.

The digital content marketing specialist is responsible for ideating, writing, and publishing compelling content that drives measurable results for our B2B clients. This role is Moncur's in-house expert in organic and paid digital content strategy and execution, bringing specialized expertise in social media (particularly LinkedIn), SEO-optimized blog content and landing pages, email marketing, and paid digital campaigns. While this role is writing-focused, this person should be able to think about content holistically and provide conceptual direction that guides designers and developers in bringing digital marketing content visions to life.

To be successful in this role, one must be able to research, understand, and communicate about complex subjects clearly and creatively—all with the clients' audience and goals in mind. You will develop strategic content plans, analyze performance data, and continuously optimize campaigns based on insights. Direct Report: Content Lead

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling content for digital marketing activities including organic and paid social media, email, paid digital media, long-form blog content, and landing pages
  • Develop and manage content strategies and monthly content calendars aligned with client goals
  • Manage social media accounts on behalf of clients, including content publishing/scheduling via Hootsuite
  • Conduct keyword research using tools like SEMrush to identify trending topics and optimize content for search engines
  • Develop target audience personas and tailor content to address specific pain points
  • Provide conceptual direction to design and development team
  • Analyze campaign performance data, measure against industry benchmarks, and provide actionable insights to improve results
  • Maintain brand integrity and consistency across all content channels
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of your work through detailed proofreading and review
  • Effectively balance multiple clients and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Stay current on content marketing trends and best practices, as well as AI tools and their applications

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or a related role
  • Strong storytelling ability with excellent writing and editing skills
  • Experience creating and managing content across digital mediums (social media, email, blogs, paid media)
  • Strong proficiency with LinkedIn and other social platforms relevant to B2B marketing
  • Working knowledge of SEO optimization, keyword research, and content performance metrics
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (Hubspot), data analytics tools, and AI tools
  • Ability to think creatively from the target audience's perspective with empathy for their needs
  • Adaptability and openness to changes in strategy with ability to quickly incorporate feedback
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills to handle multiple clients
  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills with a professional and positive manner
