Job Description
Our client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking an eDiscovery Analyst to support its Digital Legal Delivery team in New York. This role involves executing technical solutions in accordance with best practices, administering in-house and third-party discovery platforms, and assisting legal teams with eDiscovery processes. Key responsibilities include data processing, ingestion, search execution, review management, and production preparation within Relativity. The ideal candidate must be able to process data in RelativityOne, have strong documentation and teamwork skills, and have a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset. Prior eDiscovery or litigation support experience is preferred. This hybrid role requires four days in-office per week, with five days in-office initially for onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Under the guidance of senior leadership, this position will focus on identifying client requirements, executing technical workflows, and ensuring smooth project delivery. Daily responsibilities include:
- Handling data processing workflows (experience with Relativity processing is required)
- Uploading and organizing data in Relativity
- Conducting search queries across Relativity databases
- Setting up coding layouts and review batches for case teams
- Managing productions and data exports from Relativity
- Providing user support and administering Relativity environments
- Keeping accurate project records, including notes, instructions, meeting summaries, and client communications
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Some years of hands-on experience with Relativity or RelativityOne, or a degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
- Familiarity with legal document review processes and case management
- Strong communication and documentation abilities, with experience working collaboratively in team environments
- Keen attention to detail and ability to conduct quality control on work products
- A proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in eDiscovery, litigation support, or data analytics (law firm or service provider background is beneficial)
- Knowledge of professional services or technology-driven environments
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines and effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Familiarity with working across global teams and managing time zone differences
- Certification(s) such as Relativity Certified Administrator, Relativity Analytics Specialist, or NUIX Data Discovery Specialist are a plus
Expected salary for this non-exempt role is $90,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
