DOGA has more than 60 years of experience in the development and production of automotive components. With affiliated companies in Italy, USA, Mexico, Brazil, China, India and Morocco we sale our products to more than 70 countries and operate in multiple markets, including industrial vehicles, buses, trains, agriculture and construction machinery, boats, motorcycles and passenger cars.

Position: Engineer

Area: DOGA USA – Huntley, IL

Department: Engineering

Reports to: Engineering Manager

Mission: Provide engineering support for DOGA USA.

Basic responsibilities:

Engineering Off-Road Markets – 80%

• Work with Engineering Team incorporating new design and design changes.
• Create and/or modify Creo 3D models.
• Create and/or modify Creo production and client drawings.
• Ongoing learning of how to layout various wiper systems.
• Maintain engineering files and procedures.
• Check first parts are according to print.
• Assist Sales and Quality areas with technical information and drawings as needed.
• Travel to customer locations when required to assist with installation of application.

Other – 20%

• Professionally perform any other tasks required by the Managing Director and/or DOGA.
• Participate as a team member to ensure the growth and profitability of the company.
• Be polite and courteous to clients and co-workers at all times.
• Ability to support on-road customer technical needs.

Essential Job Functions:

• Accurate and efficient keyboarding skills.

• Inputting, accessing and retrieving data from computers.

• Ability to sit for long periods of time. May also require standing, walking, bending and stretching for files or supplies.

• May need to carry files or other materials up to 15 lbs.

• Ability to read, interpret and follow oral and written instructions.

• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.

• Capable of self-direction.

• Regular attendance and timeliness.

Work experience requirements: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Proficient with Creo modeling and drafting and Windchill knowledge is a plus. Understanding of kinematics.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
