Job Description

Cedar Park Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators (trac/traco), and bulldozers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety procedures, site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate skid steer loaders, mini excavators, and bulldozers on various job sites
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and site cleanup as required
• Conduct routine pre-operation inspections and report any equipment issues

• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times
• Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Read and interpret site plans or instructions from supervisors
• Work collaboratively with other crew members to complete projects efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of assigned equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, and bulldozers
• Strong knowledge of equipment operation and site safety procedures
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA certification or other relevant safety training
• Experience working on residential or commercial construction sites
• Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
