The Launch Missile Defense System is seeking a Financial Analyst 2/3 to join our team in Chandler, AZ . This position can be filled with either the level 2 or level 3 based on qualifying years of experience.
In this role, the selected candidate will:
- Active participation in program Earned Value in compliance to CPR/IPMR data reporting requirements; including preparation of earned value deliverables ensuring compliance, timeliness and accuracy
- Supporting baseline efforts, and Initial Baseline Reviews (IBR's) with customers
- Preparing EACs to include earned value analysis, hands-on EAC updates, and revisions
- Supporting the monthly financial forecasting process to include analysis and recommendations on awards, sales, operating margin, and cash
- Preparation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
- Internal and External support of compliance audits
- Supporting pricing and proposal activities
- Cash Management to ensure timely invoicing and collections
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners including Operations, Engineering and Program Management
- Balancing multiple projects and prioritize
- Maintain the highest level of commitment to quality, compliance and internal controls in adherence to company values and ethics
Basic Qualifications:
Level 2
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with 3+ years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control, OR a Master's degree and 1+ years of experience
- Expertise with Microsoft Office suite
Level 3
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with 6+ years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control, OR a Master's degree and 4+ years of experience
- Expertise with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Earned Value Management and financial reporting on a variety of contract types
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills oral and written
- Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate financial/program information efficiently within a matrix organization
- Experience with Earned Value and financial reporting on a variety of contract types
- Experience with TM1 financial forecasting system & COBRA earned value management system
- Prior experience in the aerospace and defense industry
- Familiarity of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards and FAR
Salary Range: $62,200 - $93,400
Salary Range 2: $76,600 - $115,000 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
