Job Description:
We are looking for a Network Security & IT Support Specialist to oversee network performance, security, and basic IT support at our onsite location. This role involves monitoring network activity, performing Meraki updates, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and addressing network vulnerabilities. Additionally, the specialist will assist with minor help desk tasks and workstation setups as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network traffic for unusual spikes or drops.
• Perform Meraki updates and ensure network devices are running the latest firmware.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues to maintain smooth operations.
• Review security advisories and assess vulnerabilities in current firmware.
• Assist with minor help desk tasks , such as basic troubleshooting and user support.
• Help set up new workstations, including hardware and software configuration.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Meraki networking equipment and firmware updates.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and troubleshooting .
• Ability to assess security advisories and recommend solutions.
• Familiarity with basic IT support tasks and workstation setup .
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently onsite.
