Role Overview:
The Policy Procedure Analyst for Outdoor Advetising(OA) at INDOT, stationed in the Central Office (CO) within the Statewide Permit Division, manages the statewide Outdoor Advertising across Indiana’s 6 District Offices. This role involves leading a team of 47 staff members, directing policy and procedural development, managing contracts, leading research initiatives, and collaborating with national organizations such as the Highway Beautification Act and the Association of State and Local Highway Transportation Agencies to ensure compliance with the federal and state related regulations. The analyst also monitors proposed or pending changes in federal and state laws, rules, regulations to assess their impact on the OA program, state laws, rules and policies and recommends appropriate actions to INDOT leadership.
This role is instrumental in maximizing service delivery, fiscal responsibility, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities will include auditing and reconciling current permits, addressing issues and priorities, recommending program improvements, analyzing business processes, and preparing reports. Additionally, the Policy Procedure Analyst will lead efforts in evaluating business processes, identifying procedural inefficiencies, and recommending alternative solutions.
Salary :
This position traditionally starts at an annual salary of $67,314.00. Salary for this position may be commensurate with education and job experience.
