Part-Time Personal Assistant Needed (Live-Out or Live-In option) | Mesa, AZ

**This is not currently a relocation position, client prefers someone already local to Mesa, AZ! If relocation is needed, candidate would need to do it on their own.

A private gentleman in Mesa, AZ is seeking a reliable, respectful, and well-mannered Part-Time Personal Assistant to support his day-to-day life. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working both independently and in collaboration with an overseeing personal assistant. His current PA who has been with him for a few years will be staying on and working remotely in NYC however, there is a need for a PA who is physically in AZ and can help with the day-to-day so you will work with the remote PA who will oversee everything and be a great resource.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage household mail, deliveries, and returns

• Order groceries, takeout, and supplies

• Ensure household is stocked with essentials

• Light tidying and laundry, as needed

• Trash and recycling management (curb duty twice weekly)

• Pick up prescriptions and accompany to medical appointments

• Research and schedule with top-rated doctors

• Make service calls (banks, pharmacies, repairs)

• Help track calendar events and bill payments

• Send reminders and updates to the overseeing assistant

• Troubleshoot basic tech issues; coordinate with IT as needed

• Monitor household systems and appliances

• Oversee housekeeper and handyman

• Organize pantry, bookshelves, office, and puzzles

• Maintain household documents and records

Live-In Option:

The principal is open to a live-in arrangement for the right candidate and will provide additional compensation for this setup. The live-in assistant would act as a calm and consistent overnight presence in the home, offering peace of mind as a companion to someone managing sleep anxiety. No caregiving tasks (e.g., medication or physical assistance) are required—your role would be to sleep in the home and serve as the personal assistant during the day. No duties are required overnight.

Schedule: Part-time, live-out, with flexibility based on needs. Hours TBD once the right match is found. Guaranteed at least 25 hours per week.
If choosing the live-in option, you could stay in the home for 5 nights/week or 7 nights/week.

Compensation: $30–$40/hour for the PA role, DOE; negotiable for the right candidate. Separate pay for the overnight hours when sleeping. No duties required overnight.

Dogs: The principal may want to get a dog down the road so someone who loves dogs is a plus!
Current Staff: A remote Personal Assistant and Housekeeper who comes weekly
Home SQFT: Approx. 3,000 Sq. Ft.

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: – Part-time, live-out, with flexibility based on needs. Hours TBD once the right match is found. Guaranteed at least 25 hours per week. If choosing the live-in option, you could stay in the home 5 nights/week or 7 nights/week.

Position Compensation
