We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team in Memphis, MO . The ideal candidate will have strong general phlebotomy skills , experience with specialized blood collection methods , and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in collecting blood specimens by venipuncture , as well as performing clerical and receptionist duties related to laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood specimens through venipuncture and specialized collection methods , ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Meet expectations for minimal number of draws required and volume of tests performed .
• Order and process laboratory tests in compliance with established protocols.
• Perform clerical and receptionist duties , including maintaining accurate patient records and handling inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and laboratory safety standards .
• Deliver excellent customer service , ensuring patient comfort and professionalism during the collection process.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to support high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Education & Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a phlebotomy course .
• At least 1 year of prior experience in a clinical, hospital, or laboratory setting.
• Strong knowledge of general phlebotomy techniques and laboratory test processing.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills .
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
