FULL-TIME PRODUCTION WORKER FOR SAUCE AND BOTTLE MANUFACTURING PLANT!

MONDAY-FRIDAY 6:00 AM-2:30 PM (Saturday overtime).

$17 STARTING PAY.

About the Job:
Yoshida Foods International in Portland, Oregon is seeking a full-time Production Worker!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Learn production duties in a sauce manufacturing plant.
• Develop proficiency to operate a lift truck.
• Learn quality standards and learn to ensure areas are as productive as possible.
• Learn cleanliness and housekeeping standards in Sauce//Warehouse areas and ensure that work areas are kept clean and hazard-free.
• Understand and ensure adherence to General Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to make safe quality food.
• Cross-training opportunities between the Sauce production lines.
• Learn and implement all required safety procedures and consistency and appropriate uses of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

• Solid work ethic and track record of attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience and/or ability to work in a culturally/ethnically diverse environment.
• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Walking through the production plant.
• Ability to bend, kneel, lift, grasp, climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to remain on feet for 90% of the day.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs as needed.

Job Conditions and Environment:

• Work performed in production and warehouse subject to temperature variation, long hours standing on concrete, loud environment, wet floors, lift truck traffic.
