This 500+ bed Level 1 Trauma Center is seeking a Director of Quality and Patient Safety to join their team. This leader will hold the team accountable for top quality and safety measures throughout the organization. They will also reduce the risk of those standards sliding through performance improvement processes and meeting all accreditation requirements. If your passion is top patient outcomes, safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional experience of care, this role could be great for you!

This person will have 3-5 direct reports and will report up to the Market Director for Quality and Patient Safety. She has been with the system for several years and is described as laid back, but also wants someone to take ownership of the quality department like it’s their business. She’s there to support you and any of the initiatives necessary to ensure quality care for the people inside and outside of the hospital.

Salary: The midpoint for this role is 130k with a swing on either side based on years of experience and education. This role comes with a 10% management incentive bonus and hefty relocation assistance. 

Requirements:

• RN required, Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred
• Must have at least five years experience in a hospital setting in the quality department. Three years of leadership experience required.
• Trained in improvement science in a plus (Six Sigma, Lean)
• One of the following certifications is preferred: CPHQ, CPXP, CPSP, CPHRM
