POSITION TITLE: EVENTS MARKETING MANAGER POSITION OVERVIEW: As an Events Marketing Manager at Chiquita Fresh North America, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing our growing portfolio of events to promote our brand and products. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event experiences that align with our marketing objectives and enhance brand visibility. The Events Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, logistics, vendor coordination, and post-event evaluation. This role reports into the Marketing Director, Americas. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, including trade shows, conferences, product launches, experiential marketing activations, and corporate events.
- Develop event strategies and concepts that align with marketing objectives and target audience demographics.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, transportation, audiovisual equipment, signage, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment of event objectives with overall marketing strategies.
- Liaise with external partners, sponsors, vendors, and agencies to secure sponsorships, partnerships, and promotional opportunities for events.
- Oversee on-site event execution, including setup, registration, guest management, presentations, and breakdown.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to measure event success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in event management to continuously enhance event experiences.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field.
- Proven experience in event management, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative event concepts and solutions.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and excellence in execution.
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
- Proficiency in event management software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and brand management concepts.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally, as required by event schedules and business needs.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT: - Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
- Candidate may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.
- Candidate may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment during normal workday.
- Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
This position requires satisfactory passing of a drug test in accordance with Florida Statute § 440.102.
