We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join one of our client based in Atlanta, GA . This position requires deep experience in web development, with a focus on WordPress and Drupal. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who's comfortable working independently and collaboratively across design and technical teams.
ResponsibilitiesServe as the subject matter expert for all things web development and design.
Develop, test, and deploy responsive websites and applications using WordPress, Drupal, and modern web technologies.
Collaborate with designers to translate visual concepts into functional and user-friendly websites.
Ensure code quality, scalability, browser compatibility, and device responsiveness.
Integrate websites with APIs, databases, and external platforms (e.g., Workday, social media).
Maintain, monitor, and optimize web performance and user experience.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain website functionality.
Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (ADA, WCAG 2.1).
Keep up-to-date with emerging web trends, tools, and best practices.
Utilize tools such as Google Analytics to track performance and deliver insights.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and front-end frameworks.
Hands-on experience with WordPress and Drupal .
Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services .
Familiar with cross-browser compatibility and responsive design principles.
Understanding of UI/UX best practices .
Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 standards and web accessibility compliance.
Experience connecting front-end design with back-end services and databases.
Bonus: Knowledge of ESRI or mapping software , API integrations , and Adobe Creative Cloud .
