Job Description

Sennos is a fast-growing startup company building a sensing technology platform providing advanced monitoring services to craft brewers, yeast manufacturers, cideries, seltzer manufacturers, and others to improve quality and production efficiency. We accomplish this with our innovative SaaS / IoT platform that includes advanced sensing, data collection, analysis, and visualization of a wide variety of fluid characteristics.

As a Mobile/Web Developer, you will be a member of the Product Development team responsible for developing the applications that provide the customer experience for our technology. This will include React and React Native development to collect and present information graphically, presenting both complex raw data and the conclusions / recommendations resulting from our data analytics.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to develop engaging informative applications through collaboration with product managers, designers, subject member experts, data scientists, and others.

What you bring to PFI

 
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of professional software development experience with React / React Native
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective team member, collaborating with others on design & architecture
  • Experience working with Rest APIs, mobile data presentation technologies, and / or notification / messaging services is desired
  • Strong written and oral communication and collaboration skills
As a part of the product development team you will

 
  • Work with product management, designers, and subject matter experts to understand customer use cases
  • Optimize implementation of designs to deliver performance, reliability, maintainability and testability
  • Work with other developers in our scrum team to clearly communicate progress and any issues that impede progress
  • Document design decisions & approaches in appropriate tools (Jira / Confluence / Github)
  • Participate constructively in code reviews, both giving and receiving constructive feedback
